Guy Michaels is a genuine jack-of-all-trades whose career is driven by a passion for performance and communication. He began his journey in sales, flogging everything from washing machines to bikes, where he quickly earned a reputation for outselling seasoned colleagues in a single day. After training at London’s Mountview Theatre School, he spent a few years as an actor in touring theatre.
Over the last 25 years, he has embraced and developed a truly multifaceted set of skills. His diverse work as a voice artist, audio producer, trainer, and coach all falls under the broad umbrella of performance and communication. This expertise spans everything from scriptwriting and campaign consultation to directing other voice artists and voicing projects himself. His passion for the educational side of performance led him to establish his own successful training company, and his coaching has since helped thousands of individuals and hundreds of companies improve their communication, driving tangible success - from securing millions in funding for charities to helping a well-known tea brand get its products into a major supermarket.
He has worked with a wide range of clients including Unicef, Hitachi, Barclays Wealth, and 20th Century Fox.
His wealth of experience culminated in him becoming a bestselling co-author of his first book, 'The Influence Workout' (Pearson 2015). Today, Guy is one of the UK’s leading presentation skills coaches, working with clients all over the world in virtual sessions and with UK companies in live and dynamic workshops. His unique blend of real-world experience ensures his training is anything but 'stuffy corporate'—it's dynamic, authentic, and genuinely engaging.
